About Howling Basset

My name is Andy Stonier and I am the founder of Howling Basset Limited. I have quite literally worked all over the world, from studio work in New York, freelancing for the UK's daily newspapers (News of the World, The Sun and TODAY). An official photographer to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's 70th Birthday Celebrations at Windsor, official photographer on-board the QE2 to work as a Kodak wedding photographer. Whilst working for National Weddings (which became Kodak) I did many Kent weddings over many seasons. I was brought out of a 2 year break by agreeing to do a few weddings I was recommended for. I enjoyed doing them so much that I decided to set up Howling Basset.

Howling Basset Limited now comprises of hand-picked and hugely experienced wedding photographers.

The idea behind Howling Basset is simple
All too often we'd hear at weddings, that couples weren't happy with not having 'ownership' of their photographs. That they have to send in orders to the photographer for expensive reprints.
We all love taking wedding photographs, but don't enjoy the business and admin side (right, left brain thing) so decided to hand over all photos to the couple to do with as they wish. Copy, print or send ... they're ALL yours.

Howling Basset has full Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.

Your wedding photos are held in archive:

On 2 seperate HDD at two different locations.
On CD/DVD (which are redone every 3 years (CD and DVDs do not last that long the pigment tends to corrode)).
On Iomega REV disks, which have a 35 year life expectancy and are also at a different location.

You can see we do take archiving seriously!!!
